Cyclothymic Cister

Before the Internet, I used to lie in bed at night composing thoughts as if I were talking to a wise entity. (An actual face never came to mind). I would re-word and re-phrase the thoughts till they were crystal clear. Now I can blog. And hopefully, there are a lot of wise people with real faces out there who might just comment back.

Children’s Pajamas—not Victoria’s Secret

At Wal-Mart I was looking to buy some new pajamas for my four-year old granddaughter. I came across a pair that had a picture of fruit on the front and the words “Fresh, Sweet and Juicy”. Is my mind in the gutter, or does that sound pornographic? I won’t have my precious innocent granddaughter wearing anything that suggestive.

Maybe a little of both, but I certainly wouldn't want my little kid wearing that either!

It does sound like porn to me. I would definitely not have my child wearing that...

Thank you Sarah, for dropping by. So glad you agree. My husband was disgusted when I told him about the wording on the pj's and that was before I told him my opinion.

It's disgusting to me. I try to find clothes appropriate for my 9 year old and I simply refuse to buy her anything that says something even like "Sweetie" or "Angel." I certainly would NOT let her wear even something like underwear (that's not seen by anybody) that said "juicy."

Ick.

In an age when we must be vigilant in protecting our children against predators, the words on the pajamas are offensive! Why not just advertise that she is ripe for the picking? Ewwwww!
